Terms of Service
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Professor Grant Horner's Bible Reading System ("the app"), operated by The Master's University, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
The app is a tracker for Professor Grant Horner's ten-list Bible reading method. It helps you track your daily reading, progress, and reminders. It is provided for personal, non-commercial devotional use.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information when signing up.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or use it to violate any law.
5. Intellectual property
The reading method is Professor Grant Horner's and is used with his permission; the system itself is freely shared by him. ESV Bible text is copyright Crossway and is provided through the ESV API under Crossway's terms. The app's own software, design, and branding are owned by The Master's University. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app.
6. Third-party services
The app relies on third parties including Lovable Cloud (Supabase), Google sign-in, Crossway's ESV API, and browser push services. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Master's University is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
